(Cheyenne, Wyo.) – Members of the Wyoming Recreation Action Team (REACT) will meet from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., February 25 at the Historic Governors’ Mansion Carriage House, 300 E. 21st St. in Cheyenne.
REACT is a consortium of state and federal land management agencies that work to ensure public input regarding proposed recreation fee increases on federal lands and to identify opportunities to support and to address issues affecting recreation and tourism in Wyoming.
During the meeting members of REACT will discuss updates regarding state and federal actions and legislation impacting recreation and tourism, the impact of bark beetles, and the progress on a strategic plan for WY Outside a public/private coalition of organizations promoting children’s involvement in the outdoors. An executive session may be called if needed.
State agencies making up REACT are Wyoming Game and Fish, the Department of State Parks and Cultural Resources, Department of Transportation, Division of Travel and Tourism, and the Department of Agriculture.
