Riverton woman arrested for embezzlement, faces six felonies

(Riverton, Wyo.) – Fremont County Sheriff’s Detectives have concluded their investigation into an alleged embezzlement incident occurring at rural Riverton business, and have arrested 41 year old Rachel Cox of Riverton on several charges pursuant to a warrant issued for her arrest.

Cox, who was employed by the business, is alleged to have deprived the company of monetary funds on multiple occasions in the year 2013 totaling several thousand dollars.

Cox has been charged with three charges of Felony Larceny by Bailee, three charges of Felony Theft and one count of Misdemeanor Larceny by Bailee.

The incident was reported to the Sheriffs Office on August 29, 2013.
