(Riverton, Wyo.) – A new peer support group is being formed for individuals who are suicide attempt survivors.

The inaugural meeting of “Circle of Friends” is 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at Fremont Counseling in Riverton. Therapists will be available but will not be participating in the meeting.

The group has been organized Duffy Glasgow. “It is a chance for survivors to get together and form a support group,” Glasgow said. “I really want to get a support team so we don’t feel along. We’ll have a healthy Circle of Friends to call when we’re having a bad day.”

The group is free to attend but love donations will be accepted. For more information, call 840-4202 and fccircleoffriends@gmail.com.
