(Lander, Wyo.) – The International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race comes to Lander this afternoon.

Blayne Streeper leads the pack after the first two days of racing with a total time of 7:50:21. Lander’s Jerry Bath is currently in eighth place with a time of 9:13:29.

This afternoon the mushers will hold a meet and meet and greet with the Lander community on the 200 block of Main Street from 5 to 6 p.m. A video of the 2013 festivities will be shown at the Gannett Grill at 6:30 p.m., followed by live music from Screen Door Porch.

The Lander stage of the race starts at 9 a.m. on Tuesday at the Louis Lake parking area on South Pass. (Results below from Wyomingstagestop.org.)
