Levi Stark, 6, filled his little blue bag with quarters he was able to find. He got about a dollar, but hadn’t counted it all out yet. (Ernie Over photo)
(Riverton, Wyo.) – Among the fun events at today’s Wild West Winter Carnival events in Riverton was the kids money dig at the band shell in City Park.
A whole bunch of shredded paper was placed in a two-foot tall pile, and then quarters were thrown in. The kids had a minute or so to dig through the paper and find the coins. There were three different age divisions for the kids to compete in. The younger kids got more time to find the coins than did the older kids.
WWWC King and Queen Scott and Darla Mason presided over the fun.
