(Casper, Wyo.) – Wyoming’s Snow Water Equivalent (SWE) stayed mostly steady during the past week, with the statewide median at 113 percent, compared with 75 percent one year ago this week, according to the Natural Resouces Conservation Service.
Northeast Wyoming and the Big Horn Basin continue to have well above median reports in this the 14th week of SWE reports.
In the Wind River Basin, this week’s report showed the drainage at 97 percent of median, compared with 88 percent one year ago. The Sweetwater River Basin dropped three points from last week, from 72 percent to 69 percent. One year ago the Sweetwater drainage was at 84 percent.
