Tuesday, Jan. 21

Fremont County Archaeological Society Meeting – Dr. Danny Walker will speak about bone beads and Atlati weights. The discussion is free and open to the public starting at 7:15 p.m. at the Hudson Town Hall.

 

Friday, Jan. 24

Wild West Winter Carnival Ice Fishing Derby – The “biggest little city on ice” starts at 7 a.m.  on Friday and goes through 2 p.m. on Sunday. Different species of local fish create multiple classes for biggest/longest catch. Prizes are awarded at 2 p.m. at the B&K Shoreline on Jan 26th. Visit Wild West Winter Carnival for more information.

Two traveling UW art exhibition openings – “Through the Looking Glass: The Portrait of the Artist” and “Kimonos: Strappo Prints by Harold Garde” open at 6 p.m. at the Lander Art Center. The opening reception will last until 8 p.m. The exhibitions will be at the LAC through Feb. 22.

“The Art of the Short Film” – The screening of the indie film starts at 7 p.m. at the Fremont County Library in Lander. Donations appreciated.

 

Saturday, Jan. 25

Wild West Winter Carnival Poker Run – The Poker Run starts at 10 a.m. at Boysen Reservoir. There will be different places around the lake to get your cards so warm up your 4-wheeler, snowmobile or whatever transportation you want. Visit Wild West Winter Carnival for more information.

National Theatre Live’s ‘Hamlet’ - Donations to support this program are $5 for students, $10 for adults. The performance starts at 1 p.m. at the Fremont County Library in Lander. Supported by the Wyoming Arts Council and the Fremont County Library System.

Andy Frasco & the U.N. concert – The band is playing at Bar 10 in Riverton. Doors open at 8 p.m. It is a 21 + show with no cover charge at the door.
