(Lander, Wyo.) – The Lander City Council tomorrow will discuss a couple possible ordinance changes being brought forward by Councilman Dick Hudson, Clerk Robin Griffin said.

One will consider allowing fireworks within city limits not only on July Fourth but also on New Year’s Eve. The council allowed fireworks on New Year’s Eve 2012 after the Fourth of July Fireworks was disallowed due to the drought. If anything, Griffin said she’d like to clean up the ordinance after that change was instituted.

Additionally, the council will also discuss whether or not to continue allowing limited use of snowmobiles in city limits. The complete existing regulations on snowmobiles can be found in section 8-10-1 of the city ordinances.

The Tuesday night meeting is starts at 6 p.m. at Lander City Hall. No formal decisions can be made in the work session, and any ordinance changes would require three formal public readings.
