(Riverton, Wyo.) –   Sealing of cracks in the driving surface of Wyoming 789 will cause traffic delays of up to 10 minutes over the next week between Hudson and Riverton, according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
If weather cooperates, workers may shut down Hudson-Riverton crack sealing operations for a day to finish crack sealing a portion of Wyoming 28 on South Pass.
“Please give these workers a brake so they can perform this important maintenance operation on our highways,” according to WYDOT Resident Engineer Robert Scheidemantel of Riverton. “We apologize for the inconvenience. We’re scheduled to be finished with crack sealing between Riverton and Hudson about Jan. 24, weather cooperating.”
