(Lander, Wyo.) – With very little discussion, the Lander City Council last night granted the renewal of all of the liquor licenses in town.
No members of the public, nor establishment owners, spoke up during a public hearing on the matter.
“We’ve had a number of violations throughout the year where employees have failed compliance checks,” Lander Police Chief Jim Carey told the council. However, he said he was confident that the employees who were non-compliant were isolated incidents and that the owners seem to be keeping up with all of the proper training for employees.
He said he has no problems with the current license holders.
The liquor licenses were approved unanimously. Councilman Cade Maestas was not in attendance.
