Tuesday, Jan. 14

Soup in the Park – Warm soup will be served to homeless in Riverton City Park starting at noon. Others are welcome to join with their own lunches. The event is sponsored by the Volunteers of America.


Wednesday, Jan. 15

St. Stephen’s High School Family Fun Night – The fun kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with basketball games between the Eagle and Lady Eagle teams versus high school staff and a chili and baked potato bar dinner. Saturday, Jan. 18

National Theatre Live in HD: Alan Bennett’s The Habit of Art – The play will be shown at the Fremont County Library in Lander at 1 p.m. Suggested donations of $10 for adults and $5 for students at the door. For more information call 332-5194 or www.fclsonline.org.

Fourth annual Taste of Lander – The annual fundraising effort for the Lander Pet Connection starts at 6 p.m. and goes to 9 p.m. Participating vendors are: Cowfish, Creative Chef Creations, the Hitching Rack, Kai, the Middle Fork, Siam Cafe, What’s For Dinner, Wildflour Bakery and Wyoming Catholic College Catering. Tickets are $50 and are available for pickup Old Town Coffee, Furry Friends and Lander Pet Connection.
