(Lander, Wyo.) – The first meeting of the LEADER Corporation for 2014 has been scheduled for this Wednesday morning, Jan. 8, at 7 a.m. The meeting is held in the back room of the Oxbow Restaurant.
According to a release from Co-Presidents Dave Kellogg and Bill Sniffin, “this month’s meeting will feature Gary Michaud, Community Coordinator for the City of Lander. Gary will update LEADER on the progress of the new Lander Community Center, both construction and fund raising; discuss the status of the Lander airport and rodeo grounds relocation; and will talk about the priorities and progress of the use of the 1 cent sales tax.”
LEADER Corporation is a Lander-based Economic Development organization that holds monthly meetings to inform the public on events and projects that affect the economies of Lander, Riverton and Fremont County. LEADER also provides assistance for new businesses that will bring development and jobs to the area.
