(Lander, Wyo.) – Darwin Cowboy, a junior at Pathfinder High School, is December’s County10.com Pathfinder Student of the Month.  He is the son of Bernita Cowboy.

Since starting school at Pathfinder in March of 2013, Darwin has maintained nearly perfect attendance and achieved a spot on the honor role for the first quarter of this school year.  Pathfinder High School Social Studies teacher Josie Kruse describes Darwin as “consistent, creative, and always aiming to please. His grades and attitude are always up there. He is always using his 6 P’s and Attending Skills, and he always shows up ready to work.”

Of Pathfinder, Darwin feels “it’s a good school and different from many other high schools. It’s a perfect fit for me.”

As for his plans after graduating from high school, Darwin would like to go to CWC for a couple of years and transfer with the ultimate goal of a degree in industrial engineering.
