(Lander, Wyo.) – The Fremont County School District 1 Board of Education tonight is expected to pass a resolution in support of initiatives for administration and staff to pursue for the next two years.
The resolution, if passed, also would have the board pledging not to add new initiatives with the exception of any new state mandates or changes in the district’s circumstances.
Among the initiatives the proposed resolution supports are: preparing for accreditation visit in fall 2015, implementing new curriculum standards, and the adoption of the new state accountability system.
Also on the board’s agenda are a presentation from Lander Middle School, discussions of policy changes surrounding personnel records, Mission Possible and BOCHES funding.
