Lander Library Christmas Open House - The fun, from 4-7 p.m., will feature refreshments and music by the Central Wyoming Brass Quintet. New books and audio books will be on display. Children are invited to make ornaments to decorate the library’s Christmas tree. For more information, call 332-5194.

Lander Art Center ‘Concept to Canvas’ Opening – The opening reception for the show is from 6-8 p.m. at the Lander Art Center and showcases work from the Riverton and Lander Artists Guilds. The opening is free and open to the public.
Saturday, Dec. 14
Last Chance Craft Fair – The fair is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fremont Center at the Fremont County Fairgrounds in Riverton.
Saddle Roping Jackpot High Money – The roping is event is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lander Old Timers Rodeo Association Arena.
The Met Opera performance of Falstaff – Verdi’s Falstaff performance will be live streamed at the Fremont County Library in Lander. Donation of $10 for adults and $5 for students requested.
Positively Ballet presents the Nutcracker - Tickets to the 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. “Miniature Sweets” productions of the Nutcracker are $10/person or $25/family and are available from Positively Ballet dancers or Wyoming Quilts at 305 Main in Lander. Sunday, Dec. 15
CWC’s Festival of Carols - Holiday favorites are performed by Central Wyoming College musicians. The highlight of the free concert is the performance of the cantata Gloria by the CWC Collegiate Chorale, under the direction of Robert Hussa, and several guest brass, percussion and keyboard players. The show starts at 2:30 p.m. at the Robert A. Peck Arts Center Theatre. Read more about the performance here.
