(Lander, Wyo.) – In celebration of Celebrate Pro Bono Week, the Fremont County Bar Association will host Law Night on Friday, October 25 from 5:00
to 8:00 p.m. at the Fremont County Public Library located at 451 North Second Street, Carnegie Room, in Lander.
Law Night is a free legal clinic that will provide the public with brief, one-on-one, initial consultations on any civil (non-criminal) issue such as personal injury; landlord/tenant disputes; divorce or child custody; estate planning; and more.
Volunteer attorneys from the Fremont County Bar Association will be donating their time to meet with walk-in clients on a first-come, first-served basis. Appointments are not necessary.
“We hope that this is a service the county bar can provide to the community to help address some basic questions and to familiarize people with the legal system as it relates to specific problems they may have,” said Devon Petersen, the president of the Fremont County Bar Association.
