Concerts, haunted jails and more happening this week in Fremont County

Tuesday, Oct. 22

Breast Cancer Awareness Walk – Registration for the event starts at 9 a.m. at Blue Sky Hall in Ethete. Lunch provided afterward, along with a women’s health booth, DJ and door prizes.

RMS/RHS Fall Choir Concert – The Riverton Middle School and Riverton High School vocal department, under the direction of choir director, Pam Schweigert, will perform their fall concert at the Riverton Middle School Multipurpose Room at 7 p.m. The concert is free.

 

Thursday, Oct. 24

The Riverton High v. Lander Valley High Varsity Football Game – The game will be held in Lander at 7 p.m.

 

Friday, Oct. 25

Fremont County Old Haunted Jail – The haunted house activity runs from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Fremont County Courthouse in Lander. A $3 donation per person is requested.

Law Night hosted by Fremont County Bar Association – Law Night, in celebration of Pro Bono Week, is a free legal clinic. The event is from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Fremont County Library – Lander. For more information, see this story.

Pretty in Pink – The fundraiser for the Tough Enough Cancer Fund of Fremont County is from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Accent Hair Design in Riverton.

The 13th annual Fremont County Pioneer Association Chili Supper – The fundraiser starts at 5 p.m. at the Museum of the American West. Tickets are $9 for adults and $5 for children.

 

Saturday, Oct. 26

2013 Pumpkin Patch Princess Pageant - The pageant will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Fremont County Library in Riverton for girls 0-15.

Fremont County Old Haunted Jail – The haunted house activity runs from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Fremont County Courthouse in Lander. A $3 donation per person is requested.

Garnet and Velvet Show – Cowboy Poet “Garnet” Butch Martin and Celtic Folk Singer Christina Duane of Velvet Bleu will sing songs and share stories starting at 7 p.m. The event is free.
