(Lander, Wyo.) – A couple Pathfinder High School students studying folklore gave presentations on their research to the rest of the student body on Thursday afternoon.
Both Darwin Cowboy and Adam Turner, both dressed in togas, spoke about different aspects of Greek mythology. Cowboy told the backstory of the creation the Greece’s gods, and Turner told the story of the Trojan horse.
To celebrate the occasion, Greek snacks were served, including green olives, hummus and spinach phyllos. Students also got to vote for their favorite god or goddess based on Cowboy’s and Turner’s picks of Hades and Hermes.
The presentations were the culmination of folklore class where the students even got to write their own stories. (Click photos to enlarge. Joshua Scheer photos)
