(Lander, Wyo.) – A public survey issued almost a week ago regarding the possibility of year-round schooling or four-day school weeks in Lander had been completed by more than 400 people as of Tuesday, Fremont County School District 1 Superintendent Mike Bowman said in a news release.
The Lander School Board has discussed the pros and cons of changing the school schedule to improve time spent in the classroom and increase learning.
The survey, available here, seeks to get input from parents, high school students, staff, and members of the public.
“There have been several stakeholders who have expressed appreciation for their opportunity to provide input on these two concepts,” Bowman said.

The survey will close October 28.
