(Riverton, Wyo.) – The Central Wyoming College Board of Trustees will consider taking action on a couple projects during its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday night.
The board will receive an updated Guaranteed Maximum Price from SDI for the updates to student housing at CWC’s Sinks Canyon Center. Last month when the board hired SDI to lead the project, the guaranteed top price was $900,000, though Vice President for Administrative Services Ron Granger said the number would be updated this month.
As of the mailing out of the board’s information packet, a new number had not yet been settled upon.
The board will also discuss the possibility of leasing space at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort for CWC Jackson students to stay at during school. In Granger’s letter to the board, he said there were concerns that with the present rental rate, along with Teton County Housing Authority rules, the college would not be able to cover costs with housing revenue.
The board meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the Intertribal Education and Community Center.
Other items on the board’s agenda are information on performance-based funding from the state and construction updates.
