Strong Towns: Lander Curbside Chat - Charles Morohn, a nationally well-respected community developer, planner, and engineer will be providing a “Curbside Chat” at 6 p.m. at the Carnegie Hall at the Fremont County Library in Lander. Read more about the event here.

Shoshoni Senior Center’s Fall Health Fair & Blood Draw - Multiple screenings available from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. For additional information and to register, call 876-2703.
Breast Cancer Awareness Walk – The event begins at 8:45 a.m. at the 789 Truck Stop in Arapahoe. Breakfast offered after the walk.
Masonic Dinner for Veterans - The Riverton Masonic Lodge is honoring all veterans at a dinner starting at 6 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 9
LEADER Corp. - The guest speaker for this meeting will be Dr. Kevin Roberts, President of Wyoming Catholic College. The engagement begins at 7 a.m. at the Oxbow Restaurant in Lander.

RHS Dance Team Homecoming Color 5k – Check-in and registration is at 4:30 p.m.
Central Wyoming College Foundation Oktoberfest Scholarship Fundraiser – The event begins at 6 p.m. at the Riverton Holiday Inn.
Lander Volunteer Fire Department Open House - There will be activities for the kids and safety information for parents as part of Fire Safety Week. The fun begins at 6 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 11
Riverton Memorial Hospital Auxiliary 40th Anniversary Celebration – The party will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Reach Foundation Clubhouse for all current and past members.
Saturday, Oct. 12
Readers Run 5k – The race starts at 10 a.m. at the Lander library in conjunction with a fitness fair.
Cancer Awareness Walk - Led by the Eagle Staff Runners, this walk starts at 11 a.m. at Plunkett Road, followed by a BBQ at the Shoshone Rose Casino.
Lander Art Center’s Oktoberfest – The festitivities begin at 5 p.m. at the Museum of the American West. Families are encouraged to attend from 5-7 p.m. followed by adults only until 9:30 p.m.
Dubois Oktoberfest Ole – The Kiwanis Club of Dubois’s annual event kicks off at 5:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit local parks, kids and community projects.
