(Lander, Wyo.) – Fremont County School District 1 Board of Education will meet tonight, Sept. 17, to discuss a number of potential policy and Code of Conduct changes.
The board will review a first reading a policy change that would require home school students who take classes in the school district to meet the same paperwork requirements as other students, such as proving immunization status. Other policies to be considered are community use of school facilities and student transportation for activity trips.
Within the Code of Conduct, the education component and how to handle fractioned punishments will be discussed. There will also be a discussion regarding sanction for violation by student involved in non-sport activities.
The board will also receive an enrollment update, and consider salary schedule placement for nurses and other related positions.
