(Riverton, Wyo.) – The National Weather Service Forecast Office in Riverton said the most rainfall from Thursday’s storm fell in the Lander area along the east slope of the Wind River Range. While downtown Lander received 1.27 inches and Hunt Field Airport received 1.27 inches, the most rain was noted nine miles southwest of the city where 2.15 inches was recorded.
The most rain fall in other parts of the county included .70 inches near Riverton, .66 inches near Crowheart, .57 inches near Muddy Gap, .36 inches at South Pass City, .33 inches at Hudson, .30 inches near Dubois and .22 inches at Jeffrey City.
