(Cheyenne, Wyo.) – A 28-year-old local woman was sentenced Sept. 9th in connection with an assault that resulted in serious bodily injury on the Wind River Indian Reservation
Pleading guilty to the charge was Cecelia Gayle Shakespeare, who was ordered to serve two years imprisonment and two years of supervised release by Chief U.S. District Court Judge Nancy Freudenthal. Shakespeare was also ordered to pay $76,598.17 in restitution and a $100 special court assessment.
U.S. Attorney Christopher A. Crofts said the case was investigated by the FBI and the Bureau of Indian Affairs Wind River Police Department, according to a news release.
