(Fremont County, Wyo.) - Fremont County emergency management personnel will participate in a county-wide disaster drill on Tuesday, August 27 beginning at 4 p.m. The training involves several first responders, including members of the Fremont County EMS, Fremont County Sheriff’s Office, Lander Police Department, Lander Fire Department, Public Health, Wyoming Highway Patrol plus Lander Regional and Riverton Memorial hospitals.
The drill will not affect actual emergency response service. However, be aware that there will be increased emergency vehicle traffic in Lander on Leedy Drive near the Wyoming Life Resource Center, and at both Lander Regional and Riverton Memorial hospitals.
