(Lander, Wyo.) – On Tuesday, the Lander Police Department introduced four new officers to the Lander City Council.
Reserve Officer/Special Response Team Leader Jim Donahue was introduced. Chief Jim Carey said all of Donahue’s time is donated to the city. Donahue currently serves as the Dropout Prevention Coordinator for Fremont County School District 1. His law enforcement career began in 2000, and he holds a number of memberships and certifications.
Officer Levi Hallock comes most recently from the Riverton Police Department where he served as a Patrol Sergeant. He was hired by LPD in June.
Officer Jacob Halsmer was among the first graduating class of Wyoming Catholic College. He comes to LPD most recently from the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office where he was a Detention Deputy. LPD hired Halsmer in July.
Officer Jason Ramsey comes to LPD from the Newcastle Police Department. His career in law enforcement began in 2011. Ramsey was hired by LPD in June.
The Lander Police Department is now fully staffed.
