The armed robber points a .45 caliber gun at the bartender while holding a cache of five bottles of liquor. No money was taken, and, according to police, not a word was spoken.
(Riverton, Wyo.) – Fremont County and Wind River Indian Reservation law enforcement officials are on the lookout for three men who were involved in an armed home invasion robbery and an armed robbery at the River City Bar late this morning.
According to RPD Captain Eric Murphy, at 11:04 this morning, an 11-year-old female living in the All Nations Mobile Home park burst in at a neighbors residence to report “that two men with a gun shot at their roof” and robbed the home. She was only able to tell police that one of them was wearing a bandana and the other had a ski mask on. As police were arriving at the scene, several city workers nearby approached officers to report that a silver Dodge Intrepid had sped from the scene at a high rate of scene with three men inside identified as Native American males. Then at 11:07 a.m. an armed robbery was reported at the River City Bar on South Federal. The lone suspect who entered the bar was wearing a bandana over his face, similar to one of the robbers at the home invasion site.
Police recovered shell casings from a .45 caliber handgun at the site of the home invasion robbery.
Police received three photos taken from the River City bar’s video surveillance system and ask the public if they recognize the man to call the Riverton Police Department at 856-4891.
