Riverton family asks for help from the community in locating a runaway 17-year-old boy
(Riverton, Wyo.) – A Riverton family is looking for help in locating a runaway 17-year-old boy.
Darlene Hanway-Lopez said her grandson Vince Lopez Jr. went missing after school on Friday. Hanway-Lopez is Vince’s legal guardian.
Vince is 5′ 7″, weighs about 170 pounds and is olive complected. He has short-cropped dark hair. He was last seen wearing a similar outfit to the one he is wearing in the photo above.
Hanway-Lopez believes Vince is trying to travel to Modesto, Calif., to visit his biological mother.
Since Vince has not returned home, Hanway-Lopez has reported him as a runaway with both the Riverton Police Department and National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Modesto law enforcement have also been notified.
Hanway-Lopez said she heard that Vince was spotted last night in Riverton near Walgreens with a blonde girl. The girl reportedly had hair past her shoulders and had piercings on both her upper and lower lips.
If anyone believes they have seen Vince, call RPD at 856-4891.
