Police Blotter: Arrests; Two DUIs in Riverton; Jeans stolen in Shoshoni
(Lander, Wyo.) – Wednesday’s law enforcement recap from across Fremont County.
Riverton Police Department
Chauncey Friday, 46, Riverton, Public Intoxication.
Joseph Twiss, 38, Riverton, Aggravated Assault (Domestic Violence). Police were called to the 800 block of East Main Street at 4:32 p.m. on Tuesday for a report of a man who allegedly assaulted a pregnant woman. RPD Capt. CT Smith said the assault was considered aggravated because Twiss allegedly knew the woman was pregnant. She was not transported to the hospital for injuries.
Justin Bade, 39, Riverton, Driving Under the Influence. Smith said Bade was arrested following a two vehicle wreck at East Pershing and North Federal at 6:36 p.m.
Georgianna Crawford, 60, Riverton, DUI. Crawford was arrested, Smith said, following a 1:20 a.m. Wednesday traffic stop on the 100 block of East Fremont.
A 22-year-old Riverton woman was cited for littering. Smith said the citation came after a subject through a bottle of alcohol out of a window of a vehicle on the 100 block of North Federal Boulevard at 12:04 p.m. on Tuesday.
At 3:20 p.m., officer took a report of drug use at Riverton High School. Smith did not have any additional information on the call.
At 3:21 p.m. a man reported a wallet stolen from a residence on the 100 block of Apache Avenue. There was reportedly $50 in the wallet.

Michael Warren, 19, Riverton, Failure to Appear.
Mykle Johnson, 18, Riverton CAST/Drug Court.
At 8:25 a.m. on Tuesday, a woman called and said her mother wanted to talk to a deputy about neighbor’s animals coming onto her property and destroying things. The situation was reported on the 8600 block of Highway 789 outside of Lander.
At 11:14 a.m., a caller in Atlantic City reported a subject threatened to kill him. The caller hung up without giving further details.
At 11:47 a.m., deputies were called to Shoshoni for a report of a family fight. The juvenile caller said his mother was kicking him.
At 2:25 p.m., police were called to the 300 block of East Sixth Street in Shoshoni for a report of a man with red hair and a beard who stole a pair of jeans with pink and white embroidery valued at $50.
A man on Red Cedar Road outside of Lander reported at 5:18 p.m. another man had threatened him on several occasions. He said the threatening subject always carries a handgun with him.

The Lander Police Department had nine calls for service in the last 24-hour period.
At 2:56 p.m. on Tuesday, police were called to a business on the 600 block of Main Street for a report of two individuals living on commercial property. LPD Chief Jim Carey said it appeared the people had been camping there for several days. They were told by officers to leave.
