Lander’s Vaughn to lead Fremont County Republicans, Shade is VP

fremont county republicans(Lander, Wyo.) – The Fremont County Republican Central Committee met Tuesday evening at the New Hope Christian Church in Lander to elect new officers for the county party.  The new party leadership consists of Darlene Vaughan, Chairman, John Shade, Vice Chairman, both of Lander.  The other two elected officers are Patrick Moore of Dubois, State Committeeman and Lindy Linn of Shoshoni, State Committeewoman.  Vaughan, Moore and Linn will represent Fremont County on the State Central Committee of the Wyoming Republican Party.  All candidates ran unopposed.

Outgoing Chairman John Birbari thanked the Central Committee and said, “I’ve enjoyed serving as chairman these past two years.  Thankfully, I had a good team.  This is not a one-man job.”  Birbari also thanked outgoing Vice Chairman Perry Marple, Secretary John Angst of Dubois and Treasurer Tim Ellis of Riverton.
