Lander Regional Hospital receives Lifepoint Hospital’s “High Five” award for excellence

(Lander, Wyo). – LifePoint Hospitals of Nashville, Tenn., has awarded Lander Regional Hospital with a 2012 High Five Award for demonstrating excellence in health care delivery. The award was presented at the annual LifePoint operations meeting on March 1. 

The High Five Award is the highest honor awarded annually to a select few of LifePoint’s 57 hospitals, recognizing extraordinary achievement in demonstrating the Company’s High Five guiding principles:

  • Delivering compassionate, high quality patient care
  • Supporting physicians
  • Creating excellent workplaces for employees
  • Strengthening the hospital’s role in the community
  • Ensuring fiscal responsibility

The hospital received a check from LifePoint Hospitals in the amount of $100,000 to be used to invest in hospital improvements and technology as the hospital continues to grow and enhance its medical services.
