(Lander, Wyo.) – This past Saturday, 65 cub scouts and their families from Packs 17 and 83 of Lander and Packs 44 and 76 of Riverton participated in the annual district Cub Snow Day, bringing the “outing” of Scouting to the Sinks Canyon ski area.

This annual event brings cub scouts from throughout Fremont County together in a celebration of fun, camaraderie and sharing that good ‘ol Cub Scout Spirit.

Beautiful balmy weather, plenty of snow and lots of imagination and energy lent itself well to sledding, snow sculpture, roasting hotdogs and marshmallows, popping corn in foil, and general romping around. Fun was had by young and “older” alike.
