Police Blotter: Arrests; RPD break up middle school rumble; Mailboxes stuffed with snow in Lander

Fremont County Sheriff’s Office
Arrests:
None.
Calls:
At 3:48 p.m., deputies were called to Garner Drive near Lander for a report of fraud. The situation is under investigation.
At 4:29 p.m. on Wednesday, deputies received a report from the 900 block of East Monroe Avenue in Riverton about three juveniles on bikes darting in and out of traffic.
At 5:40 p.m., dispatch received a call from a woman in Dubois who wanted to see if 911 worked.
At 7:43 p.m., the Wyoming Highway Patrol was called to Highway 789 near Shoshoni by a woman who was kicked out of a car. She told police the driver of the car was intoxicated and hit a deer.
Riverton Police Department
Arrests:
Michael Downey, 26, Riverton, Probation Revocation and Possession of Marijuana
Tammy Yeates, 42, Riverton, Contempt of Court warrant
Benjamine Piper, 47, Riverton, Contempt of Court warrant
Nelson Duran, 33, Riverton, Contempt of Court warrant
Calls:
Riverton Police assisted the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office on a disturbance call involving a man with a knife in the 200 block of Delfelder Road, outside of Riverton Wednesday at 35 minutes past midnight.
The School Resource Officer at Riverton High School was given a case number for a possible possession of marijuana offense at 1:42 p.m. Wednesday.
A little rumble between about 10 Riveton Middle School students behind the Riverton Branch Library was broken up by police at 3:39 pm. Wednesday. Parents were called to pick up several of the youngsters. There were no arrests or citations.
RPD Officers transports four individuals to the Fremont County Alcohol Crisis Center on Wednesday. One other person said he would walk there by himself.

Calls:
At 10:49 a.m. yesterday, police received a report of harassing phone calls from a Jamaican company.
At 3:57 p.m. on Wednesday, police were called to the 400 block of North Eighth Street for a report of juveniles who stuffed a woman’s mailbox with snow. The caller told police it was happening to other mailboxes in the area, but police have received no further calls. There are no suspects at this time.
At 6:14 p.m., a man on the 700 block of Cliff Street reported antlers taken from his back fence. Lander Police Lt. Chuck Carr said several shed antlers and European mounts (skull and antlers) were missing. The caller said they were taken some time through the winter. There are no suspects.

A rumble between 10 Middle Schoolers was broken up- REALLY- hopefully they all got their butt's whipped — oh wait they can't do that anymore……..
