(Midvale, Wyo.) – The Fremont County Fire Protection District’s newest fire hall, to serve Batallion 8 at Midvale, is starting to take shape. The steel structure of the new 6,200 square foot, nearly $1 million three-bay fire hall was erected this week and now SSI, Inc (Sehnert Systems) of Riverton has added the framing for the overhead doors and are preparing to enclose the structure.

The weather turned bad before the concrete floor of the new fire hall could be poured, so it will be added later. The underfloor plumbing and other infrastructure, including a new 40,000 gallon underground water tank on the west side of the new fire hall, have been installed.

The new fire hall will be very similar to one recently completed at North Portal. County10.com previous report on the fire hall construction details can be found by clicking here.
