(Lander, Wyo.) – LEADER Corp. in Lander will hear a presentation on the Wyoming Life Resource Center at its next regular breakfast meeting, 7:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 13th in the meeting room of the Oxbow Restaurant.
“As many of you know, there is legislation being developed in Cheyenne that will require a study of the WLRC as to the cost-effectiveness of the institution and the services it delivers to Wyoming and the community,” said Co-Chairman Dave Kellogg. “Joe Quiroz and Lora Davidson will be at the meeting to discuss the legislation and the impact that the facility has on clients and families.”
Kellogg said the ecomomic impact of the WLRC on Lander and Fremont County will be presented. .
“We all know what the WLRC has meant to Lander. Please attend to better understand what the community could be facing if the facility were to close,” he said.
LEADER Corporation is a Lander-based Economic Development organization that holds monthly meetings to inform the public on events and projects that affect the economies of Lander, Riverton and Fremont County. LEADER also provides assistance for new businesses that will bring development and jobs to the area.
