(Riverton, Wyo.) – Saturday was a big day across Fremont County with the popular Main Street ice sculpting at the Wild West Winter Carnival in Riverton, the Rotary Club of Riverton’s annual Crab Crack, Lander Lil predicting the next six weeks of weather, chariot racing above Dubois and a festive habitat improvement project at Ocean Lake.  County 10 was out in force Saturday to capture images from each of the events…

At Ocean Lake Saturday morning, over a dozen volunteers placed about 500 Christmas trees on the ice. When the ice melts, the trees will provide good habitat for small fry fish.
