Police Blotter: Arrests; Tires slashed on car; Man arrested after allegedly urinating on a vehicle

(Lander, Wyo.) – Wednesday’s law enforcement recap from across Fremont County.

Fremont County Sheriff’s Office

Arrests:

Ashlee Bojaj, 28, Lander, Contempt of Court.

Timothy Kenyon, 22, Lander, Contempt of Court.

Tyler Wolfley, 19, Lander, Failure to Appear Warrant.

Calls:

At 10:31 a.m. on Tuesday, deputies received a report about a suspicious person who was inquiring about obtaining scrap metal from a location in Riverton.

At 7:27 p.m. on Tuesday, deputies were called about a red mid-sized truck on 8-Mile Road outside of Riverton that was all over the road. The caller said the vehicle almost drove into a ditch and then came back onto the road. Deputies were unable to located the vehicle.

At 10:10 p.m., a caller on North Second Street near Lander reported a passenger car that slid off the road and was in the ditch with the engine still running. The caller did not stop to see if there was anyone in the vehicle. Deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.

At 1:14 a.m. on Wednesday, deputies received a call from a woman in Dubois who said she was receiving harassing phone calls from a man at the Lava Mountain Lodge. She did not know who the person was.

Riverton Police Department

Arrests:

Kincaid Duran, 43, Riverton, Public Intoxication. At 9:10 p.m. on Tuesday, police were called to the Loaf N Jug for a report of two men who urinated on the side of the caller’s car. Duran was subsequently arrested.

Juanita Brokenleg, 36, Ethete, Failure to Appear Warrant. Brokenleg was arrested following a 5:53 p.m. call at Red Eagle Food Store about four subjects by a pay phone who were “cussing up a storm and bothering people.”

A 29-year-old woman was cited for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. A person on the 1000 block of East Park Avenue reported a vehicle that was outside and running was taken. The call came in at 11:08 p.m.

Calls:

Police had a vehicle towed that was parked on the 500 block of Sycamore Drive because it was blocking a driveway and the owner couldn’t be contacted.

At 10:50 a.m. on Tuesday, police received a call about a car with a dog inside parked on the 500 block of East Main Street. The caller later reported that a man removed the dog from the vehicle.

At 3:09 p.m. on Tuesday, police were called to the 400 block of North Federal Boulevard for a report of a woman who appeared to have been assaulted. It was later determined that the woman had eaten something red. She was taken to the detox center.

At 5:05 p.m., a caller reported a possibly intoxicated man walking in the middle of the 400 block of East Fremont Avenue and knocking on car windows.

At 5:48 p.m., police received a call about slashed tires on a silver Hyundai on the 200 block of South Sixth Street East.
