(Kinnear, Wyo.) – There’s nothing like a bright red fire engine to spark the imagination of a little boy. So imagine what four-year-old Killian was thinking with a whole building full of fire trucks.
At Saturday’s Bountiful Baskets distribution at the Morton-Kinnear Fire Hall, Killian’s mom had already stashed her produce in her vehicle, then went looking for her son. “I know where he is, he’s probably in one of the fire trucks,” she said. Not quite, but close. Killian had found the helmet of his uncle and was wearing it, darting around the fire hall looking up at the shiny big red trucks. A fireman on scene allowed Killian to step up into one of the trucks. Actually, he got a boost as the runner on the side of the truck was almost as tall as he was.
For Killian, it was a great Saturday morning trip with Mom.
