Fremont County Sheriff’s Office
Vernaldo Dodge, 35, Riverton, Contempt of Court Warrant.
David Killsree, 34, Riverton, Failure to Appear Warrant.
Carmen Wesaw, 36, Ethete, Probation Revocation Warrant.
BobbyJo Masill, 39, Riverton, cited for Use of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine. Deputies were called to Snowberry Lane for a report of a woman who appeared to be trying to steal something out of a vehicle. When confronted, the caller said the woman said she was looking for a battery and her eyes were “real big.” Masill was subsequently arrested.
At 11:29 a.m., deputies received a call from Dubois about a mail carrier who was attacked by a terrier type dog. The caller said it tore the man’s jacket and shirt, and he had four puncture marks. The incident is under investigation.
At 12:28 p.m., a woman in Hudson reported that her dog was possibly shot two or three times. She said it was still alive but bleeding. Upon further investigation, it was determined the dog was injured in a fight with another dog and was not shot.
Lander Police Department
Tesla Myers, 21, Lander, Domestic Abuse and Jennifer Glasscox, 23, Lander, Domestic Abuse. Lander Police Chief Jim Carey said officers were called at 2:39 a.m. on Friday to a residence at the intersection of North Ninth and Lincoln streets for a report of two women fighting outdoors. “Both women showed injury of an assault,” he said. Both refused treatment.
Michelle Eagleroad, 21, Lander, cited for Shoplifting and Kyle Willenbrecht, 18, Lander, cited for Shoplifting. At 8:40 p.m. on Thursday, police were called to the Family Dollar Store for a report of shoplifting. Carey said the pair reportedly attempted to steal $8.83-worth of energy drinks. Carey said Eagleroad was charged earlier this week with petty larceny after allegedly taking cash from the Subway register.
At 11:09 a.m., a woman reported receiving several possible fraudulent calls about needing to send a duty check to redeem a $2 million prize.
At 2:37 p.m., police received a report from a man who said his father’s belongings were stolen out of a truck after it was towed. The caller said his father was no longer alive but wanted to report the theft.
