(Lander, Wyo.) – An update from the Wyoming State Legislature on HB 68: Life Resource Center:

State Senator Cale Case, R-Lander, reported Friday that Rep. Lloyd Larsen, R-Lander, will be in town this weekend and he is going to hold a public meeting today (Saturday) from 2-4 p.m. at the Fremont County Library in Lander.. Case encouraged folks interested in the future of the Wyoming Life Resource Center in Lander to stop by.  ”Visit with Rep. Larson and let him know that the study (proposed under the legislation) needs to be balanced,” he said.

HB68 has passed the House and will be heard in the Senate after the first of February. Case said he would let the public know when the bill is up for discussion in the Senate committee.

A public call-in conference was held Wednesday night at the Governor’s office to answer questions about the bill. Read about it  here.

  1. From Senator Case:
"Representative Larsen’s meeting will be at the Lander Library Little Theater and not at his office as the previous message indicated. The meeting will be from 2 to 4 PM today (Saturday). Be sure and thank Representative Larsen for taking time to return from Cheyenne and hold this meeting."
