(Lander, Wyo) – Waterline break at the entrance to Lander Regional Hospital. Traffic is being diverted around the hospital. Bishop Randall Drive is closed currently and detour signs are up. More details to follow. The hospital entrance remains accessible.
The hospital issued the following statement late this morning about the situation:
“This morning it was discovered that there was a water main break under Bishop Randall Drive, the access to the hospital. Due to the hospital having another water line coming in through our Outpatient Surgery Center we are able to supply the entire hospital with water. There has been no change in operations in the hospital and we are fully open for business.
However, the city will be digging up the driveway leading to the hospital to repair the water main. Traffic to and from the hospital will be detoured through the city shop driveway. Signs are posted.
We appreciate your support and cooperation during this time.”
The detour is located adjacent to Bishop Randall Drive and is easy to follow.
