Lander Valley Education Foundation receives donation from Shopko

(Lander, Wyo.) – Shopko donated $500 yesterday to the Lander Valley Education Foundation. Local store manager David Lively presented the check to Foundation Director Lisa Joynes and Chairwoman Lisa McCart.

Lively said Shopko donates hundreds of thousands of dollars across the county, and this year the focus is on education.

Joynes said the donation would go toward funding a teacher’s grant for the current semester.
