CWC Rustlers top Sheridan College, record now at 13-3; Next up at Miles City on Saturday

(Riverton, Wyo.) –  Central Wyoming and Sheridan College faced off for the first time this year at Rustler Gym in Riverton on Wednesday night with a hard fought battle going to the hometown Rustlers 72-69. The Rustlers took a 39-25 halftime lead, and maintained the lead to the final buzzer.

The Rustlers were led by Armani Flannigan (17 points and 8 rebounds) and Ryan Thomas ( 12 points and 5 rebounds.) The Rustlers will be in action this Saturday in Montana at Miles City. The tipoff is set for 5 pm.

Sheridan Lady Generals 72, CWC Lady Rustlers 68

The Central Wyoming Lady Rustlers played a hard fought game against the Sheridan Lady Generals in Riverton Wednesday but lost a close contest.  Going into half the Lady Rustlers were down by only one point, 34-33. Coming out in the second half the Rustlers were led by Marissa Hogan’s (17 points) and Tina Hosea’s (14 points and 6 rebounds). Late in the game the Lady Generals pulled away for the win 72-68. The Lady Rustlers will be in action this Saturday at Miles City. The tipoff is set for 3 pm.
