(Casper, Wyo.) – According to Casper College, a memorial service and candlelight vigil is planned for 4:30 p.m. today for Friday’s murder victims Jim Krumm and Heidi Arnold.

The service will be held in the college’s Thunderbird Gymnasium and will include remarks from college President Walter Nolte, Dean of Science Grant Wilson, Student Senate President Nicolette Hanson and other faculty colleagues.

A candlelight vigil will follow in the east parking lot. College and faculty musicians will perform.

Krumm and Arnold were allegedly killed Friday morning by Christopher Krumm, Jim Krumm’s son. Both were stabbed, and Jim Krumm was also apparently shot with an arrow on campus during a class. Christopher Krumm then allegedly killed himself.

Jim Krumm was a former Lander resident. According to his biography on Casper College’s website, Krumm worked at the Wyoming State Training School for nine years.

The college is encouraging professors to cancel classes for the service, and offices will be closed.
