Flags ordered at half staff tomorrow for former State Senator Mike Svilar

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) – Governor Matthew H. Mead has ordered the State of Wyoming flag be flown at half-staff at the Capitol in Cheyenne and in Fremont County from sunrise to sunset tomorrow,  Tuesday, December 4, 2012, in honor of former State Senator Mike Svilar who passed away November 30, 2012 in Riverton.  Senator Svilar represented Fremont County in the Wyoming House of Representatives from 1965-1966 and the Wyoming State Senate from 1967-1969.

Funeral Services for Svilar are planned for Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 10 a.m. in the gymnasium of St. Margaret’s Catholic Church in Riverton, with a viewing scheduled for Monday, Dec. 3, from 5-7 p.m., at Davis Funeral Home.
