Mr.D’s had first big winner in Dash for Cash promotion (Sponsored)

(Lander, Wyo.) – On Sunday, September 16, 2012,  Mr.D’s Food Center had its first big winner in the Dash for Cash promotion.  Adrissa Underwood of Ethete had the first redeemed $1000.00  dollar card. Adrissa said earlier in the week she consolidated several cards in her purse and kept the winning card out of her collection.
It was both a shocking and joyous moment in Mr.D’s as Vikkilyn announced “holy cow its a thousand dollars.” Cheers erupted across the store as the news was announced over the loud speaker. Checker Joe announced, “WE HAVE A THOUSAND DOLLAR DASH FOR CASH WINNER ON REGISTER NUMBER 2.”
“We have been waiting for a big winner and have been a little nervous that they may have been thrown away.  We are at the half way point and have given out over half the cards,” said store manager Nichole.
In total Mr. D’s anticipates awarding over $30,000 dollars during the promotion.  Normally the Dash for Cash promotion runs for 12 weeks, however, it will be shortened this year as the stores popular Turkey Vouchers promotion will be starting soon. And, Never fear, the prize wheel will come out of retirement some time before the end of the year.
“Mr.D’s is commited to saving you time and money so please come in to see our new low prices and fill out your cards. There are two-$1000.00 and three-$500.00 cards unclaimed in the promotion as well as many $5, $10, $20, $50 cards,” said owner Bonnie Motherway.
