(Lander, Wyoming) – The National Outdoor Leadership School will unveil the 11-kilowatt solar array addition on the Rocky Mountain operations building this Wednesday May 23rd. The array was installed through the support of Rocky Mountain Power’s Blue Sky renewable energy program and is the final phase in establishing a 25-kilowatt array at the facility.The array is one of the largest in the state, it was made possible by the Rocky Mountain Power Blue Sky grant. Tours will begin at 10 a.m. for the new geothermal system that will heat and cool the facilities with ground-source heat and additional energy efficient renovations. The solar array dedication will take place at 11 a.m. The NOLS Rocky Mountain Building is located at 502 Lincoln Street in Lander.
