(Riverton) — The Greenline Equipment dealership in Riverton, suppliers of John Deere agricultural and home implements, broke ground Tuesday north of the city on a 7.5 acre parcel of land for a new sales and service center. “We’re just north of Wyoming Livestock Supply,” said Terry Hunt, Greenline’s Ag Sales Director in Riverton. “The final design of the new store is still underway, but the building will be roughly 20,000 square feet in size.” Greenline  Equipment is presently located on West Main in Riverton.

Hunt said the farm implement dealer’s new building would feature a much larger showroom with a mezzanine above the office area, plus a large parts department and a start-of-the-art service department. “We’ll have overhead cranes in the new service area with dedicated repair and wash bays and separate work stations for our consumer line of products,” he said.

Hunt said the new location offers plenty of parking out front, easy access from the highway and lots of room for equipment parking and displays. “We’ll also be adding Honda and Stihl products, such as chain saws, trimmers and lawn mowers,” he said.

Furst Construction of South Joran, Utah, is the general contractor for the project. “We anticipate using local subcontractors and we’ll advertise our bid process so as many local contractors can participate as possible,” Hunt said.

“I think the new building will be very attractive and will have high windows out front, it will be a great addition to the community.” Hunt said.
