Original post from earlier today – A 32-year-old Riverton man was found dead in his apartment Monday afternoon on the 300 block of South 1st West. He has been identified as Michael Horton. The Fremont County Coroner Ed McAuslan said there were no signs of foul play but “anytime that someone 32 dies, that’s something that is a question for us.” The Riverton Police Department originally responded to a call of a male in his 30′s that was unconscious on his couch. Horton’s body is scheduled for a preliminary autopsy in Loveland Colorado today at 1 p.m. If a cause of death isn’t discovered during the preliminary autopsy, it will take four to six weeks for the official autopsy results. Check back in with County 10 this afternoon for the latest information.
