15th Annual Dubois Sled Dog and Skijoring Races and Winterfest in Dubois this weekend

Mark your calendars for a weekend of winter fun in Dubois that includes a list of
activities for all members of the family.

On Saturday Feb. 4th Dog Sled races start the day off at 8:30am and continue
throughout the morning along with Skijoring Races. Races will be held at the Sheridan
Creek Oval (approximately 17 miles west of downtown Dubois). Additional events on
Saturday include Children’s Crafts at the National Bighorn Sheep Center at 10 a.m.,
a Soup & Bread Contest from 1-3 p.m., a Children’s Dress-Up Show at 2 p.m. and a
Hootenanny at 7 p.m.-all at the Headwaters Arts & Conference Center.

Sunday Feb. 5th begins with the second round of Sled Dog and Skijoring Races at 9
a.m. at the Sheridan Creek Oval. The final event of Sunday is the Pee Wee Fun Run
(for participants 3 through 8 years old) and involves teams of one sled and one dog.
The Pee Wee Fun Run will take place on or around 12:30 p.m.
